Services Provided

Individual Counselling

Individualized therapeutic counselling for adults who are facing challenges around communication, relationship conflict, stress management and mental health. Adult counselling focuses on the individual’s needs and strengths while developing skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and resiliency.

Couples Counselling

In couples, counselling partners are supported to address a variety of issues and challenges that are common in long-term committed relationships. This includes problems of miscommunication, lack of connection, loneliness, and issues related to money management, parenting, and changes with intimacy.

Family Counselling

In family counselling, I help find solutions that work for each family member through a process of connection and exploration. I can help improve communication with family members, understand each other better, and learn to decrease conflict through better communication.

Science & Best Practices

Coming from a long career in health care I rely on science, current peer-reviewed research, and evidence-based decision making. Integrating current best practices balanced with the lived experiences of my clients ensures we have all the resources we need to address our respective goals for therapy.

Counselling Services Rates

Please note that beginning February 1st, 2022, my fee will be $150 for all adult 50-minute sessions in accordance with professional association guidelines (BCACC). Family and Couple Therapy fee is $165.00 for all 50 minutes sessions.

Fees are aligned with recommendations for Registered Clinical Counsellors in British Columbia. I offer a few sliding scale-spaces. If cost is a barrier for you, please connect with me directly to discuss.
